Global Medical Knowledge, Inc. (GMK) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in January 2007 to bridge the medical knowledge gap between developed and developing nations. GMK uses technology to improve access to current, actionable medical information in developing countries and to build collaborative partnerships among medical educators around the world. Digitized, high-quality medical content already exists. What is needed is an organization that consolidates reliable and relevant medical content into a centralized and accessible location, and an organization that connects content providers and medical institutions in developing countries. Our long-term goal is to build new global collaborative partnerships among medical educators.
Our mission is to reduce healthcare inequality in developing countries through increasing access to high quality education and knowledge for doctors, nurses, medical students, and other healthcare professionals.
Our vision is a world where every community has access to quality healthcare with trained medical professionals.
Strengthen training for doctors and nurses by providing critical medical curriculum and increasing teaching performance through faculty development.
